A message from Sally Richardson, Inn Keeper & Owner of the Brass Lantern Manor

The Brass Lantern Manor is nestled in a quiet, country setting that is just the right distance from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding cities. My husband Bill and I have lived in this area all our lives and enjoy our country setting and beautiful surroundings. The Hillsdale Lake is at our doorstep and it is a bustling, fun recreational area with everything from water sports to horseback riding, biking, nature trails and hiking. Hillsdale Lake is the second most visited attraction in Kansas, second only to Cabelas.

I have been taking gourmet cooking classes for over 5 years and continue to expand my knowledge by studying under Joe Gottschall and Kathy Miller of Kitchen Creations in Olathe, Kansas.

Nothing delights Bill and me more than an evening filled with people enjoying delicious food, soothing music, candlelight and our warm hospitality. The amenities and gracious touches at our home are intended to make your visit a memorable occasion.
